Trip highlights

Today was a grey, rainy day, leaving some of our customers thinking they weren’t going to see anything on our Columbia Glacier Cruise. And yet, everyone aboard got some great views of humpback whales, fin whales, and Orcas too!  Did you know that Fin whales are the second largest whale on planet earth? We are so lucky to have such beautiful, amazing beings residing in the Prince William Sound!

Our passengers also got to see many other awesome animals and birds including Stellar sea lions, otters, bald eagles, and black-legged kittiwakes, just to mention a few. So don’t let the rain or cloudy skies stop you from enjoying a voyage with Stan Stephens Glacier & Wildlife Cruises, because it’s one of the best things to do on a rainy day. Especially since the animals and birds don’t mind the rain, and overcast skies only amplify the beautiful blue hues of the glaciers.

We hope you’ll join us for your own adventure aboard Stan Stephens Glacier & Wildlife Cruises, because rain or shine, we always have a wonderful time exploring the majesty of the Prince William Sound in Valdez, Alaska.
